Batu Kopi (Coffee Stone) is located on the shore of Posiposi-Rao Island, Southwest Morotai Sub-district, Morotai Island regency, North Maluku province. This stone is very unique because at certain time it produces the smell of coffee although there are no coffee plantations in the surrounding area. In addition, the beautiful Batu Kopi is also located on white sand and there is a quite big hole under the stone.

Batu Kopi in the form of reef is considered containing a mystery by the residents. Every day, around 8-10 am and 3-5 pm, the stone spreads the aroma of fresh coffee. The aroma is wafted only about 10 meters around the stone. According to local residents, if you want to smell it then you should be calm and there should be no commotion around it. If you come in a group to this place, it is frequently happened that there are some of them cannot smell the aroma of coffee.
In this location, there is no facilities for tourists. If you want to see waterfall, you can walk about 500 meters from Batu Kopi and go along the river which flows end at sea. This trekking will surely be an unforgettable moment, especially passing pristine forests.
If you go from Daruba city, Morotai Island so you have to use speedboat to reach Posiposi-Rao Island with a long journey of approximately 1.5 hours.
