Bobanehena beach, known as Pantai Galau (beach of confusion), is one of the attractions in West Halmahera, North Maluku province. It is located in Bobanehena Village, only about 20 minutes from Jailolo.
"Bobanehena" in the local language has a meaning. "Bobane" means sea and "Hena" means areca nut because this place is first full of betel palms. The beach also has myth. The myth begins with a couple of a man and a woman find a betel palms in this beach, then they fall in love and decide to get married. Then this story is attached to Bobanehena. Therefore, this place is often called as "Tanjung Kenangan or Cape of Memories".

This beach is perfect for enjoying the beautiful sunset, the scenery of the islands of Ternate, Tidore, Maitara, and Hiri also enliven the beauty. From the edge of the bridge, blue sky fades slowly replaced by a yellow color red. In this place, there is also a wrecked passenger ship.
The seashore of Bobanehena has warm water because there is a spring nearby.
