Cannon and Bunker of Japanese heritage during World War II can be found in Hatetabako Village, Central Wasile Sub-district, East Halmahera, North Maluku province. Those historic objects are very interesting to visit.
Here you can see the muzzle of a cannon which has been deliberately damaged by the allied forces, by detonating a grenade at the muzzle of the cannon. This region was bombarded by the allied forces in November to December 1944.
