Kakara Island is one of the cluster of islands in front of Tobelo City which can be reached about 15 minutes by long-tail boat (ketinting) which you can find at Dufa-Dufa Harbour, with route Tobelo - Kakara and return. If you intend to explore the surrounding islands, the best way is to rent a long-tail boat with a capacity of 6 people or a speedboat.
